Support groups and accountability

Fivecentnickel featured a post today about the importance of having a financial support group. I think it’s one of the most important elements of any endeavor, especially financial ones. I wasn’t going to post about it here until I received a phone call from one of my best friends who is also our Financial Peace University accountability partner.

She called this morning with the best news I’ve heard in months. “I’m debt freeeeee” she screamed through the phone! Woohoo! It really hasn’t been that long since we started on this journey together, just over a year, and I can honestly say that it has been an awesome ride. And, it’s great to see her on her way to true financial peace.

She ended our conversation with this, “tag, you’re it!”

Congratulations Sarah!! We’re looking forward to joining you on the other side!
